Freshers Newspaper 2023
The last few months of my placement were dedicated to crafting the brand of Freshers 23. From creating the branding to watching it lend itself across various mediums – from tote bags and tea towels to van magnets and gazebos. My standout project, the “Fresh off the Press” newspaper, was given out to all freshers and seen by thousands. I am proud of what I created, and it definitely helped me prepare for my final year of my degree.
Event Branding
Awards Week
During the LSU Awards season 2023, we handled 9 awards evening over 2 weeks. This meant creating different certificates, trophies, programs, PowerPoint templates, social media posts, and more. It was a challenging but incredibly enjoyable project to work on!

THE Loughborough Experience Awards
It was absolute privilege to be shortlisted for not one, but two LEAs! Within just nine months of joining LSU, I found myself alongside three extraordinary women as a finalist for Union Staff Member of the Year. Furthermore, I was shortlisted for Union Team of the Year with my exceptional colleagues from the LSU Marketing Team.
FROM INTERN TO SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Approximately a month into my role, our Senior Graphic Designer went on maternity leave, putting me into the spotlight as the sole graphic designer in the building. Though initially daunting, this experience has been incredible for my professional growth and portfolio expansion. I've learnt so much and it’s been particularly rewarding seeing my designs in and around the LSU, from bar and cafe menus to expansive wall, door, and window vinyls. As well seeing my graphics regularly featured on our social media channels, which have over 19k followers.
